Yuuuuuuuuuuuuuummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm! Probably the best post of the day! :-) Thanks for stopping by...the pillows usually have a copyright date and company name (Campbell, Metzger & Jacobson; Schwab & Wolfe, etc.) along the selvedge edge. These were all purchased as unfinished fronts - the gal on the yellow one is probably the oldest (I would have to turn them all inside out now to get to the dates), and I believe she was 1903. I think the vivid one with the green background was 1908 - she had never seen the light of day, and someone took exceptional care of her, all those years. I have three more here (one from 1899) that need to be made up and given a chance at being a pillow in their lifetime.
Well, that sure is an appealing photo. What a treat! Love the fresh snow. I can just imagine the ice cold wine ... so refreshing. Thanks for sharing and Happy White Wednesday. Me thinks I need a libation ... Lynn at Cottage and Creek
We've got snow coming down hard right now...I'm crossing my fingers I won't have to go to work tomorrow. Your wine and spinach dip look delicious! BTW, thanks so much for your sweet comment on my frames flowers...made my day:)
Add a few good magazines to that table and you can survive several days in the snow! Enjoy it. We haven't had any to speak of this year (AL) so I am jealous of everyone who has snow! Rhodna
