Probably the best post of the day! :-) Thanks for stopping by...the pillows usually have a copyright date and company name (Campbell, Metzger & Jacobson; Schwab & Wolfe, etc.) along the selvedge edge. These were all purchased as unfinished fronts - the gal on the yellow one is probably the oldest (I would have to turn them all inside out now to get to the dates), and I believe she was 1903. I think the vivid one with the green background was 1908 - she had never seen the light of day, and someone took exceptional care of her, all those years. I have three more here (one from 1899) that need to be made up and given a chance at being a pillow in their lifetime.<br /><br />Happy Wednesday - enjoy the wine!
